Agricultural Industry

In 1997, Gil started its partnership with EMBRAPA | Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária [Brazilian Agriculture and Poultry Company]. Since then, many pieces of equipment were developed and destined to precision agriculture. High tech equipment such as the CLON- Programmed Embryo Freezing, SAO - Digital Egg Analysis System and the GEO 255 - Distant Climate Data Collecting Station.

In 2003, this partnership model with EMBRAPA created a new challenge: developing a semi automatic machine to extract the Cashew Nut. With initial design and technology transfer from CNPDia, Gil developed the project creating an efficient, fast and safe machine. Besides its technical qualities, the Cashew Nut Decorticator humanized the work of nut extractors.
